Often as women, in our role of nurturer to others, we forget to nurture ourselves, and here at Nurture, we understand the day-to-day stresses of life and that finding time to fit exercise in can be a battle!

Nurture Fitness is a female-focussed fitness studio in South Canterbury’s Timaru.  At the helm is Janelle Rathgen, a passionate advocate for women’s exercise who has specialised in the area of women’s physical health and fitness over the last decade.

Janelle knows that exercise can boost your energy, strengthen your core, increase your overall strength and posture along with helping to improve your mental health.

It was with these stressors in mind, that Janelle has developed a child friendly fitness studio in Timaru offering pilates classes and personal training.  Nurture Fitness is committed to supporting women through all levels of fitness with a focus on safe and effective exercise options after childbirth, illness, or injury.

At Nurture, you’ll find a supportive child-friendly environment inviting women to get out of the house, connect with other mums and enjoy improved health and wellbeing.
