What is Reformer Pilates
Reformer Pilates is a dynamic, full-body workout performed on a specialised piece of equipment known as a reformer. Featuring a moving carriage, springs, straps, and a footbar, the reformer provides adjustable resistance to help strengthen, lengthen, and tone the entire body.
With a focus on controlled, precise movements, Reformer Pilates is designed to improve core stability, strength, flexibility, and posture. Classes are suitable for all levels, with variations offered to suit individual abilities.
If you’re new to Pilates, we recommend booking a one-to-one introductory session before joining a class. This personalised assessment will help you become familiar with the reformer, introduce you to key Pilates principles such as breathing techniques and core engagement, and complete your pre-screening form.
For Mums and Bubs sessions, babies must remain safely in their pram, capsule, or playpen throughout the class. Before joining Reformer Pilates, all Mums and Bubs participants are required to complete our Core Foundations class as a prerequisite.
